a)
For Peiyi to buy equal number of large and small pots, the number of sets of large pot : small pots  has to be => 3:2
So 3 set of large pot = 15X 3 = \$45.
and 2 set of small pot = 10X2 = \$20

Difference = 45 – 20 = \$25
Number of units = 175/25 = 7

Set of large pot she bought = 3u= 21 sets
Number of large pots =21 X 2 = 42 pot

Small pot = large pots , therefore small pots is 42 pots too
Total she bought = 42 X 2 = 84 pots of plant. ####

b)

To spent equal amount on money, Jamal has to buy set of large to set of small pot in this ratio.
Large set : Small set : Total => 2 : 3 : 5

Potted plant ratio, i.e x2 to large set, x3 to small set

Large ; Small : Total = >4 : 9 : 13

Fraction of large pot he bought = 4/13.
