If you fold each small equilateral triangle into the shaded pentagon, they will fill the pentagon exactly. Hence each small equilateral triangle is 60/6 = 10cm2.
Area of ABC = Area of shaded pentagon + 3 small equilaterals = 60 + 30 cm2 = 90 cm2
