Red apples, R -> 9u

Green apples, G -> 3u

Total -> 12u

Total Sold -> 6u

Red apple sold -> 5/6 x 6u = 5u

Green apple sold -> 6u – 5u = 1u

Green apple remaining -> 3u – 1u = 28

2u = 28

1u = 14

5u = 70

70 red apples were sold.
