Question

please help ….

There were altogether 1000 apple pies, banana pies and cherry pies in a shop.

After 1/3 of the apple pies and 190 of banana pies were sold, the ratio of the

number of apple pies to the number of banana pies to the number of cherry pies was 3:1:2.

Find the number of banana pies left in the shop.

Answer

In the end,
A : B : C
3 : 1 : 2

Since 3u is 2/3 of Apple pies left,
in the beginning,
Apple pies => 3/3 = > 4.5u
and
Banana pie initially is => 1u +190

4.5u + 1u +190 + 2u = 1000
7.5u + 190 = 1000
7.5u = 810
u = 108

Number of banana pies left is 1u = 108 ###
