The figure can be broken into 5 equal rectangles.

Each small rectangle, area = 60/5 = 12 cm2′

Since BC is 6cm,  CD = 12/6 = 2 cm

AG = 4X 2  =8cm

Perimeter =  12 + 12 + 8 + 8 = 40cm ##

Hi Ender, we saw e solution in e same way as yours but used units comme BigDevil.

After shifting e shape [6x5u=60], we found CD & used pushout (12+8)x2 to find perimeter. Thanks all!

Area of big rectangle -> 6 x 4u = 24u

Area of small rectangle -> 6 x 1u = 6u

24u + 6u = 60 cm2

30u = 60

1u = 2 cm

4u = 8 cm

Perimeter -> 12 + 8 + 12 + 8 = 40 cm
