Question

Mike set up two beakers of identical water plants. He then shone a torch at beaker A and two torches at beak B.

He noticed that there were more bubbles collected in the test tube of beaker B. Give a reason to explain why.

Answer

Compared to water plant in A, water plant in bearer B receive light energy. Hence, it has higher rate of photosynthesis, resulting in more oxygen released to the water. Therefore, more bubbles are collected in test tube of beaker B.
