Another secondary three math Q need to ask for help, thx

The y-intercept of the line 2x+ky-6=0is -2

Find

a)  the value of k

b) the gradient of the line

Answer

2x + ky – 6 = 0

ky = 6 – 2x

At the y-intercept, x = 0, y = -2

k(-2) = 6 – 2(0)

-2k = 6

k = -3

(b)
