Another secondary three math Q need to ask for help, thx
The y-intercept of the line 2x+ky-6=0is -2
Find
a) the value of k
b) the gradient of the line
2x + ky – 6 = 0
ky = 6 – 2x
At the y-intercept, x = 0, y = -2
k(-2) = 6 – 2(0)
-2k = 6
k = -3
(b)
Gradient of the line is 2/3
Thank you so much BigDevil for taking time answer the question
You are welcome.
My kid is in Sec 2, so this is my way of brushing up my rusty secondary school math.
