Esther, Felicia and Gina had a total of 304 marbles. The ratio of the number of marbles Felicia had to the number of marbles Gina had was 5:4 at first. After Esther and Felicia had each lost 1/2 of their marbles, Felicia had 30 more marbles than Esther. Given that the 3 girls had 204 marbles left, how many more marbles had Gina than Esther at first?

(E/2) + 30 ——- F/2

E ——- F – 60 = (5u – 60)

(5u – 60) + 5u + 4u ——- 304

14u ——- 304 + 60 = 364

1u ——- 364/14 = 26

4u ——- 26 x 4 = 104

5u – 60 ——- 26 x 5 – 60 = 70

104 – 70 = 34

Ans : 34 more marbles.
