Question

Answer

Before sale

Number of tickets -> 4u

Amount collected -> 4u × $9 = $36u

During sale

Number of tickets (increased by 50%) -> 1.5 × 4u = 6u

Amount collected (increased by 25%) -> 1.25 × 36u = $45u

Price of ticket during sale -> $45u ÷ 6u = $7.50
