Since it was only half full originally,

When tank is full, capacity of the tank = 3.6L x 2 = 3600 cm3 x 2 = 7200 cm3

Capacity of tank = Base area x height (H) = 100 cm2 x H = 7200 cm3

H = 7200 cm3 / 100 cm2 = 72 cm

Suggested answer:

Half of the tank = 3600 cm3

Full tank = 3600 cm3 x 2 = 7200 cm3

Height of tank will be,

7200cm3 / 100cm2 = 72 cm
