John, Kevin and Larry had 216 game cards. Kevin gave some of his game cards to John and John’s game cards were tripled. Then John gave some of his game cards to Larry and Larry’s game cards were tripled. At the end, the three boys had an equal number of game cards. How many game cards did Kevin have at first?

Answer

As I understand the rules correctly the answer is 168.
So, 216/3=72; 72/3=24; (24+24)- 216 = 168 cards has Kevin
It’s interesting that I found that mathematic exercise after reading that gambling fifa write-up https://www.gamesreviews.com/articles/10/fifa-2021-loot-boxes-considered-gambling-or-not/ And I think must to help resolve such exercises

I think Kavin has 72 cards because my math is too weak so I am not sure. Most of the time I am spending on playing online casinos so I have a little knowledge about math. If you guys want to join an online casino then more info here on casinosfellow site. You can visit this site and check the amazing offers. You can also win here real-time money.

216/3 = 72
Working backwards,
72/3 = 24 (Larry at first)
72 – 24 = 48 (John gave Larry)
Let the number of games cards John had at first be 1u
1u x 3 = 3u
3u – 48 = 72
3u ——- 72 + 48 = 120
1u ——- 120/3 = 40 (John at first)
216 – 40 – 24 = 152

Ans : 152 game cards.

This is a Multiple interested transfer question.

LCM  (left)

3 √ó 3 = 9

  After   Transfer   Before   Transfer   Before
Larry   9u  Р6u  3u   3u
John  9u  + 6u 15u   Р10u 5u
Kelvin  9u   9u + 10u 19u
Total 27u   27u   27u

27u  = 216

1u = 216 √∑ 27 = 8

19u = 19 √ó 8 = 144
