At first,
Bryan’s savings : 10 units
Joanna”s savings : 10 units + 120

Joanna gave 60% of her savings to Bryan,
Bryan’s savings : 16 units + 72
Joanna”s savings : 4 units + 48

Bryan than gave 25% of his money to Joanna,
Bryan’s savings : 12 units + 54
Joanna”s savings : 8 units + 66

12 units + 54 – 8 units – 66 = 4 units – 12 = 20
1 unit = 8
10 units + 120 = 10 x 8 + 120 = 200

Ans : \$200.

Thanks!

This is multiple fractional transfer question.

LCM (left)

J  4/10 × 3/4 = 12/40

120 × 3/4 = 90

 Before transfer after transfer after Joanna 40u – 24u 16u +16u – 30 32u – 30 Bryan 40u – 120 + 24u 64u -120 -16u + 30 48u – 90 80u – 120 80u – 120

48u – 90 = 32u – 30 + 20

48u – 32u = 20 – 30 + 90

8u = 80

40u = 80 × 5 = \$400

Thanks!
