This is an algebra question. 

3 (4p + 5)/5 – 2 (3p + 1)/3

= 9 (4p + 5)/15 – 10 (3p + 1)/15

= 9 (4p + 5) – 10 (3p +1)   /  15

= 36p + 45 – 30p – 10  / 15

= 6p + 35  / 15
