area of the shaded part = 2 x [(6 x 6 – 1/4 x 3.14 x 6 x 6) – (6 x 6 – 3.14 x 3 x 3)/4] = 11.61

or
6 + 6 = 12 (length of rectangle)
12 x 6 – (1/2) x 3.14 x 6 x 6) – (6 x 6 – 3.14 x 3 x 3)/2 = 11.61

Ans : 11.61 sq cm.

This is Area question.

6 × 6 = 36

3 × 3 × 3.14 = 28.26

(36 – 28.26) / 4 = 1.935

6 × 6 × 3.14 × 0.5 = 56.52

36 + 36 – 56.52 – 1.935 – 1.935

= 11.61 cm2
