Numbers that contain digit 3 are : 30, 33, 36, 39, 63 and 93 ——-> 6 numbers
{[(54 – 12)/3] +1} x 2 – 6 = 24

Ans : (a) 1665; (b) 24.

This is a Pattern question.

1) Divide the pattern by 3

4,5,6,…..33

2) 33 – 4 + 1 = 30 number

30 ÷ 2 = 15 pairs

4 + 33 = 37 (1 pair)

37 × 15 = 555

555 × 3 = 1665
