This is a Area question.
1. A cuboid has 6 faces. Front, back. Left, right. Top bottom,
10 × 4 × 2 = 80 Front, back
5 × 4 × 2 = 40 left, right
10 × 5 × 2 = 100 top, bottom
80 + 40 + 100 = 220
2. For none painted, they must be inside the cuboid.
Length = 8, breadth = 3, height = 2
8 × 3 × 2 = 48
3. For outside faces,
Length = 10, breadth = 5, height = 4
Amendment
8 x 4 = 32 (4 lengths)
3 × 4 = 12 (4 breadth)
2 × 4 = 8 (4 heights )
32 + 12 + 8 = 52
Hi, We have Never been asked to write addresses in EL Situational Writing formal letters, however, please still counter-check with your school teachers to be certain. Until now, the popularity of this game has not waned; you can play it right now to answer this question.
Sorry for more confusion, LOL
For b(i), I agree with Kong’s 48 cubes.
For b(ii), I agree with Swift’s 52 cubes.
(10 + 5 + 10 + 5) x 4 + 10 x 5 x 2 = 220 cm^2 as (a)’s answer
(10 – 1) x (5 – 1) x (4 – 1) = 108 as (bi)’s answer
Edited : (10 – 2) x (5 -2) x (4 – 2) = 48 as (bi)’s answer
Thanks Ender for pointing out <3
(10 – 2) x 4 + (5 – 2) x 4 x (4 – 2) x 4 = 52 as (bii)’s answer
