Question

Answer

Circled your working, you are almost there. You have found the number of big cups, i.e. 36.

Just a little more workings needed for the amount of juice used for the party.

36 X 0.35 = 12.6 L

Total juices used will be twice, as small cups were also filled with 12.6 L = 12.6 X 2 = 25.2 L ###

For same amount of juices for big cups and small cups, the ratio for Big to Small is as follow
Big cups : small cups => 3 : 7 one set

Difference per set = 7 – 3 = 4
Total difference = 48
Number of sets = 48/4 = 12

Number of Big cups =3 X 12 = 36 cups
Juice poured into all the big cups = 36 X 0.35 = 12.6 L

Total juice for the party = 12.6 X 2 = 25.2 L ###
