Janice spent 70% of her money on 15 mangoes and 5 oranges. If 1 orange cost half as much as a mango, How many oranges can she buy with the rest of her money ?

Let the cost of 1 orange be 1 unit. 

Then 1 mango = 2 units. 

15 mangoes and 5 oranges = 30 units + 5 units = 35 units

70% – – > 35 units

30% – – > 35 ÷ 7 × 3 = 15 units

15 units ÷ 1 unit = 15

Janice can buy 15 oranges with the rest of her money.
