A tank is 30% filled with water.When 60% of the water in the tank is poured out and 2640 cm3 of water is poured in,the tank is filled to the brim.What is the capacity of the tank?Give your answer in litres.-MATH PROBLEM SUM

Answer

30% x 60% = 18% (from the 30%)
30% – 18% = 12% (water left)
100% – 12% = 88% ——-> 2640
1% ——-> 30
100% ——-> 3000
3000 ml = 3 l

Ans : 3 litres.

60% of 30 = 18%

18% water was poured out

12% of the tank is filled.

100 – 12% = 88%

88% = 2640

100% = 3000 ml

 

Capacity of tank = 3000ml

how do you get 3000ml they need the answer in litre

3000ml = 3  litres.
