Initially, 

Su Ling = 4U

Aishah    = 3U + 48  

Aishah’s 1unit is 16 more than Su Ling. So Aishah’s 3 units = 3U + 48. (48 = 16 x 3)

After few days… 

Aishah did 1/3 more of p.cranes, that is, 1U + 16 p.cranes. 

Aishah will have  

4U + 64

Su Ling = 2U  –> She threw away half

4U + 64 – 2U = 82

2U = 82- 64

2U = 18

U = 9

Aishah = 4U + 64 = 36 + 64 = 100

Su Ling = 2U = 18

Total cranes in the end = 100 + 18 = 118
