Is the answer (1)?

All the holes have similar extreme dimensions (height, width, circumference).

The circle hole is closest to the light source. So the size of the projected shape is the biggest compared to the triangle & square projected shapes and will be projected over the smaller shapes. All that is visible will just be the circle shape (the triangle & square is actually still within the circle of light).

The answer is 2. 🤔

If option (2) is wrong, then option (4) might also not be the possible answer.

That left us (1) and (3).

Kinda ambiguous, I think…

Maybe some Science teacher will have a more thorough explanation – good luck!

My observations:

*Only one sheet is made of a material that allows light to pass through. (already told)

*All are the same height. (3cm)

*The shape in the middle is white. The rest surrounding the white shape is black. (options given. 1,2,3,4)

That’s all I know.
