Miko has a sheet of rectangular paper 28 cm by 19 cm. Find the maximum number of quadrants of radius 6 cm she can cut from the sheet of paper. (Take π as 3.14)

Answer

28/6 = 4R4
19/6 = 3R1
4 x 3 = 12

Ans : 12 quadrants.

For P6, answer is 12 as provided by mazda12345 and bbcxd.  

For shape-cutting, it is incorrect to divide the total available area by area of each shape (whether exact or approximate) to obtain the number of shapes.  For the given piece of paper (28cmx19cm) , it is impossible to cut out 14 squares of 6cmx6cm.

For sec math, expect to get min 15.
