Thanks Adwin! One more thing hope to consult you: my child thinks “the size/volume of the block” is the same as “the shape of the block”, and the problem mentioned that “other than the shape of the block”. Perhaps mass and orientation are better?

The shape and the size/volume are not the same. Shape describes the type of outline around an object. Volume is the amount of space that an object occupies. 

If I were to give an example, different balloons can have the same shape but their respective volumes will change depending on how much air is pumped into it. Conversely, balloons with different shapes can also have the same volume if the same amount of air is pumped into them.
