Hi ozora, let me try to help you out with this question above. *Pattern* questions can be daunting sometimes. Some of the toughest problem sums that the primary school students face in fact come from these *Pattern* questions.

In order to solve these types of questions, students must be able to identify the pattern sequence, which usually fall into these 3 types:

-Sum of consecutive numbers

-Sequence of numbers with constant difference

-Square numbers

With better knowledge and understanding of these above, together with certain concepts, students will be able to solve *Pattern *questions with ease.

The sequence that i have boxed in Green, uses ‘Sum of consecutive numbers’

The sequence that i have boxed in Blue, uses ‘Square numbers’

If you are interested, I will be more than happy to help out. I can provide in-depth explanation and guidance.

Feel free to PM or text me (:
