@tkklim74 - Phase 2B ACS(P)

hi tkklim74

Registration phases are the same for all schools. Distance is NOT a qualifying factor in phase eligibility. Distance is only consider when there are more applicants than available places for any particular phase.

Phase 2B are for a child whose parent has joined the school as a parent volunteer not later than 1 July 2010 and has given at least 40 hours of voluntary service to the school by 30 June 2011; or whose parent is a member endorsed by the church/clan directly connected with the school; or whose parent is endorsed as an active community leader.

Good Luck !

Phase 2 B

 Hi – I would like to know if Phase 2 B at ACS (P) is only open to Methodists or if it is open to those staying within 1 km of the school. Thanks in advance for your input.

How a Methodist gets the children to a Methodist school

Hi, I hope I am not too late to comment. Check with the church office of the church you are attending. Phrase 2B welcomes all methodist to apply but you need to be a member of the church and a letter from the church office require when registering for the school. That was during my time. Oldest boy now is 14 and the younger one is 10. Both ACS (BR) & ACS (P). Do check with the church office direct. From what I understand, things should still be the same practise. Hope that this helps for all whom wish to have their children send to Methodist School.

Car Pool

Hope you found other parents to do the car pool. I’m very surprised to know that parents actually feel fine using taxi like school bus/van to send kids to school.  Can you please kindly help advise by replying to my post if you know anything? Thank you so much!

Which Methodist church should I attend to be in phase 2B?

I’m a Methodist. Do I need to attend a particular Methodist church to be in phase 2B? Should I get a special letter from the church? Please kindly advise. Thank you!

ACS(P) :Car Pool for kids living around Upp Thomson vicinity??

I’ve a Primary 1 boy in ACS Primary this year.

I’m looking for other parents living in the Upper Thomson/ Bishan vicinity who are

interested to car pool? I’m thinking of hiring a taxi to be shared among 3 kids, including my son.
