Our Beliefs

Brainy Child Montessori believes that children learn best in their early formative years. They are like a “sponge”, ever ready to receive inputs. The more inputs and exposure they get in different areas and subjects, the better equip they are to draw upon this knowledge to reach logical conclusions, be creative and expressive.

Brainy Child Montessori believes that children learn most effectively through hands-on experience and creative exploration. This will cultivate their love for learning, which in turn will help develop them into motivated self-learners.

Our Weekend Classes

We have additional classes available on the weekends. Mum/Dad & Tot is for children age 18 months to 3.5 years old. This 1.5 hours class is designed for the child to get used to school, as such, he will be accompanied by 1 adult. Each week, the teacher will focus on a different subject like English Phonics, Math, Sensorial, Cultural and Science. This class is held on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Weekend Phonics class is available for children age 3.5 to 7 years old. It offers a multi-sensory approach to learning, which helps the child to build a strong foundation essential for reading and writing. This class is held for 1 hour every Saturday.

Weekend Math class is available for children age 3.5 to 7 years old. It strengthens a child’s foundation in math, problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills. This class is held for 1 hour every Saturday.

Our Brain Training program is suitable for children aged 5 to 16 years old.
It is a US program where it addresses 5 areas – cognition, problem solving, evaluation, memory and creativity skills. Each student is given an initial assessment of his/her abilities.
Based on the results, the program will create an individualised-study plan to address their weaknesses.

Testimonials

brainy child“When my daughter first joined Brainy Child Montessori three years ago, she did not know any word of English. After three years, I was surprised at the improvement of her English. Other than English, she also learned math, science, arts, etc. and now she is ready to go to local primary school.” – MrShimagaki, Father of Emi (Class of 2018)

brainy child“My son enjoyed his experience so much while attending the school – he even asked to go to school during the weekends! From time to time, we would be surprised at new words he would use (e.g. The toy is now “stabilized”).” – Mrs Lau, Mother of Kenneth (visitor from New York)
