Albany Montessori Kindergarten

Our company was established in the year 2000 and was known as Pusat Pendidikan Albany. We started off by offering Ukhrawi and moral Education specialising in subjects such as Arabic Language, Solah, Dua, Sirah, Fiqh and Akhlaq.

In our desire to provide a more wholistic education, we opened Montessori Lab Childcare and Kindergarten in 2003.It offers 30 % Montessori Method of Education and 70% Developmentally Appropriate Curiculum.The childcare was able to attract students from all races and background. We also had students from all nationalities.

The ability of each child to progress is not limited in any way. We believe that each child is unique and has different pace of advancement.Children that has the ability to accelerate their skills will be given the necessary tools to progress. Thus we have children from the same class studying at various levels. Yet students with slower ability will be given the proper guidance to achieve the basic minimum required before they embark in their formal studies in Primary 1. With this in mind, we do not enforce school uniform in our centre because we believe each child is unique and should retain their individualism. Students will only be required to buy T – shirts for their outings and visits during their educational trips for safety and identification purposes.

The Albany Montessori Kindergarten is the latest offering that we are providing to parents especially Malay/ Muslim parents. This Kindergarten provides a One Stop Education facility to students in Preschool setting. It offers Montessori Method of Education which has its tremendous strength in Ettiquettes building, Phonics ( English ) and Numbers Concept ( Maths ). It also include Developmentally Appropriate  Curriculum which is catered to every childs’ ability and needs according to their age group. On top of all these, we also provide the Ukhrawi lessons at no additional charges. Students will learn basic Quranic Reading ( Iqra’ ), Daily Duas, Solah, Arabic Language and Islamic Ettiquettes. With this system, we hope that children will receive a complete and wholistic education without having to go through the grills of extra lessons in the weekends.
