Evangel Kindergarten

Evangel Kindergarten, registered with the Ministry of Education, provides a holistic Christ-centered educational environment for every child’s learning and development.

The Kindergarten aims to nurture young children and to provide each child with a positive introduction to formal education. We strive to provide an encouraging and conducive educational environment that is safe, loving, and rich in opportunities.

We provide classes for Pre-nursery, Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and 2. We also conduct enrichment classes such as Speech & Drama, Art & Craft, Creative Writing, Exploring Science and others in the afternoons, after school hours.

he curriculum content is designed to effectively motivate, guide, and evaluate each child according to his or her own abilities.  Opportunities for development of expressive, perceptual, and motor skills are provided in art, music, and physical education.  SPICE (Strengthening Proficiency In Chinese and English) Programme is our literacy programme that aims to bring our students to a higher level of proficiency in reading and writing in both the English and Chinese languages.

Our Creative Arts curriculum includes subjects such as Music & Movement, Art & Craft, and Structured & Free Play.  Computer lessons are taught at K1 and K2 levels for the purpose of developing early appreciation of computer technology literacy among our students.  Our children are also exposed to Christian stories, songs and values in their course of learning. In addition, excursions and field trips are organised to reinforce the children’s learning outside the classroom.
