The Problem We Saw
In Singapore’s competitive education landscape, many tutors rely on tuition agencies to find students—but these agencies often charge high commissions, reducing what tutors earn. At the same time, parents and students face limited choices.
We wanted to change that. We started Find A Tutor with a Clear Mission: to connect parents and students in Singapore directly with trusted tutors, without the high agency fees and the middleman in between.
Our Solution – Find A Tutor
Parents and students can browse a wide selection of tutors or post a tuition job, chat with them directly, and make informed decisions. When you find the right match, you have the option to pay through our secure platform, where the tutor receives 90% of the fees, and the remaining 10% helps us cover the cost of keeping the site running. This also enables both parties to leave authentic reviews, helping great tutors build a solid reputation and giving future users peace of mind.
We understand that flexibility matters — that’s why you can also choose to transact outside the platform. While we encourage using our system for transparency and accountability, it’s completely up to you.
