J H Kim Taekwondo Institute is an award-winning Taekwondo Network both internationally and overseas with over forty schools in eight countries. The original Jae Hun Kim Taekwondo Institute was founded in 1974 by Grandmaster Jae Hun Kim in Boston, USA. The Singapore Network was established in 2003 to bring Grandmaster Kim’s unique brand of Taekwondo to Singapore.

 

Our four schools, located in Bukit Timah, Toh Tuck, Sembawang and Woodlands, are centers of excellence for providing quality Taekwondo training to our students of all ages. Under the leadership and watchful eye of Master Lai Han Seng, the school also received the prestigious Promising SME Award in 2015 based on the criteria of good leadership, innovation, performance, positive values and sustainability.

 

The schools are affiliated to the Singapore Taekwondo Federation which is the Singapore national governing body for Taekwondo. The guiding philosophy of Master Lai Han Seng is to provide a learning environment for students of all ages and abilities and they strive to make sure that it is a same haven for all aspiring martial artists. Students are encourage to pursue their individual passion for the martial art and the competition team have excelled in both local and regional championships.
