Philosophy

At Montessori Schoolhouse, we recognise that a child’s ability to absorb knowledge and skills is at its highest during the first six years of his life.  This is the time when lifelong attitudes and patterns of learning are established.

Montessori education addresses the intellectual, aesthetic, physical, emotional and social needs of children.  Children can learn better when they are given the opportunity to choose and discover things in their own way.  The didactic classroom materials are developed in such a way that abstract ideas are put in concrete form and makes sense to developing minds.

We strongly believe that parental involvement is important and parents are partners in fostering and developing a positive attitude towards school and learning.  Our staff and parents work hand in hand to strike a balance in caring and developing children to their fullest potential, based on the renowned teaching methodology of Dr. Maria Montessori.

We aim to educate children in the use of their minds and senses and strive to provide an environment where children learn at their own pace, through work and play, and through stimulating fun activities, they are encouraged to make choices and learn through their senses which develop their :

Facilities

A fun resort for kids care and education in a Montessori environment.  Classes are conducted in a spacious two-storey bungalow.  The safe warm, fun environment is further enhanced by the green garden, playground equipment, cycling park and water pool.

Staff

Our team of teachers are committed and motivated to ensure a holistic Montessori Education for your child.  Besides possessing the relevant Early Childhood Training qualifications approved by MCDS, they had undergone Montessori Training, received their Montessori Certification and constantly upgrading themselves through in-house training, workshops and seminars.

  • Your child learns to perform daily task and develop independence, concentration, motor skills, build his self-esteem, social awareness and self-discipline.
