Kinderland (Choa Chu Kang) is a premier pre-school provider offering both  kindergarten and childcare services.  The kindergarten and the childcare centres were started in 1999 and 2001 respectively.  Our centres have grown over the years from an initial enrolment of less than 10 children to over 300 children today, testimony to our dedicated team of teachers and supporting staffs.  We have received Kinderland’s Franchisee Awards repeatedly since the awards were started six years ago.  In 2006, we are honoured to be presented with a plaque for Good Educational Practice by MOE and also awarded the Kinderland’s Franchisee of the Year.

Our Achievements: We have been the repeated award winner years after years.  Our achievements speak volume about our strive for excellence and our objective in providing the best early childhood services to all.

We offer a balanced, comprehensive and stimulating preschool curriculum to develop your child’s potential and to ensure success in school.  Our special programmes in Music, Computer, and Kinderfit set us apart from the rest.

Core Curriculum:

• Integrated Language Arts Programme (I-LAP) A multi-sensory, thematic approach that combines stories, art, phonics and language experiences to bring meaning to the learning of the alphabet, reading and writing.

• Maths Alive Programme (MAP) A meaningful and concrete way to acquire early mathematical concepts through hands-on learning and common materials from the child’s environment.

• Science Discovery Programme (SDP)  Experiences in the wonderful world of science and discovery enable children to develop process inquiry skills, e.g. observing, classifying, measuring, experimenting, predicting, problem solving and recording.

• Chinese Language Activity Programme (CLAP) Fun and effective ways of learning Mandarin, through proven techniques such as songs, stories, drama, movement and penmanship exercises.

Creative Curriculum:

• Move with Music Programme (MMP) A movement-based music programme uniquely designed to nurture, refine and extend young children’s musical abilities and enjoyment through songs, musical stories, percussion instruments and expressive movement.

• Children’s Music Course (CMC) The teaching of sol-fa, keyboading skills, rudiments of music theory and music appreciation by professional music teachers.

• Technology Integrated Learning (TIL) Children use specially selected software that give them a technological headstart, while learning the basics in language and maths.  TIL also enhances children’s creativity through the use of computers.

Physical Exercise Programme:

• KinderFit Programme (KF) The programme emphasises a ‘whole-person’ approach to wellness.  It incorporates fun and enjoyable developmentally appropriate physical activities that promote the acquisition of fundamental movements skills as well as the development of self-confidence, responsible habits, team spirit and a positive attitude towards a healthy life-style.
