Aims to lay strong English literacy foundations to nurture curious and creative learners and critical thinkers from 3 years old up to Primary 6.
My English School provides two proven Singapore-focused and in-house developed programmes: the My English Reading Programme and the My Primary English Programme.
The goal of these programmes is to lay a solid foundation in English literacy skills to help children excel in life and school. This is a journey for the children that will include fluent reading with understanding, writing, listening and speaking.
Our reading classes for younger learners are ability-based rather than age based as this will ensure that students will be advance at their own speed rather than by time. Hence we offer a free assessment to determine what literacy skills the child has and then find a suitable class based on the child’s ability. For the primary level classes, we offer free assessments as well in order to ensure children are appropriately placed and neither feeling bored by not being challenged enough nor stressed by being challenged too much.
To ensure that there is sufficient attention from the teacher to the individual student, we have a small number of students per class. Last but not least, our carefully selected and trained teachers bring creativity, enthusiasm and professionalism that make the My English School lessons come alive.
