New Life Kindergarten

New Life Kindergarten provides pre-school education for children between ages 4 to 6 years old (Nursery to Kindergarten Two). There are two sessions: Session I from 8.30 am to 11.30 am and Session II from 11.45 am to 2.45 pm. School bus services are available for children staying in Marsiling, Woodlands, Sembawang and Yishun.

During the three years of pre-school education in New Life Kindergarten, we want to provide strong academic foundation for the children but most importantly we want to impart Bible truths and spiritual values to them. “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). During our daily Assembly, Christian choruses, hymns and songs are sung. The children are taught to say and sing the Lord’s Prayer. Christian teachers are rostered to tell Bible stories to the children.

New Life Kindergarten will continue to create an environment where children will enjoy learning and experience the love of Christ in their lives.

Our curriculum is based on the Ministry of Education’s framework for a Kindergarten curriculum on nurturing early learners. The curriculum focuses on the physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of each individual child. Our lessons are conducted in English, and Mandarin and Tamil are taught as second languages. Besides doing worksheets, children are engaged as active learners through play, interactions and with support from adults. Learning in small groups is conducted for phonics and reading, computer-aided education, hands-on activities and project work.
