Mediated learning takes centrestage in the new Junior Network Development Centre.We focus on developing thinking skills in children at an early age.Teachers are trained to stimulate learning through the child’s experience.
                                     
This centre is a collaboration between PPIS and Social Enterprise Network Singapore (SENSE). PPIS has more than 20 years experience in Early Childhood Services and is one of the pioneers in establishing a play-based curriculum. SENSE is the training arm of Yayasan MENDAKI whose mission is to navigate, empower and position the community at the forefront of excellence.

To provide a healthy foundation within a nurturing environment that contributes to the total development of the child.

Learning Corner
A learning corner, which comprises computers, has been especially designed in the Centre as part of the holistic learning experience for children. Adopting the concept of the Mediated Learning Experience, parents will be roped in as mediators to play an active role in their children’s educational development. The Learning Corner will be utilized to ensure the process of learning becomes a meaningful journey for the child.

Games and activities are tailored to suit the different levels. Programmes are developed with the child’s interests at heart, using various educational approaches which will hone the child’s explorative, imaginative and investigative skills.

Playgroup 1 ~ 18 mths to 2 years old
Playgroup 2 ~ 2 to 3 years old
Nursery ~ 3 to 4 years old

Operating Hours

Mondays to Fridays 7: 00am to 7:00pm

Saturdays 7: 00am to 2: 00pm

MOE/MCYS approved programmes based on child initiation (interest)& teacher facilitation (guidance) towards experiential learning (meaningful experience)
