Rooted in the principles of child development and early education, Cambridge Pre-school recognises the critical importance of nurturing independence from a young age. Through our carefully crafted curriculum, children will be gently guided through age-appropriate activities that promote self-sufficiency in daily tasks, from dressing independently to tidying up after play. By instilling these skills early on, children will develop a sense of autonomy, competence, self-reliance, and agency that extends beyond the classroom and lays a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.
PRACTISE ACADEMIC SKILLS THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
Our curriculum does more than just cover the fundamental literacy skills of reading, writing and mathematics. We harness the power of AI to personalise learning and enhance creativity.
CULTIVATE PEOPLE SKILLS THROUGH HUMAN INTELLIGENCE (HI)
Unlike machines, humans have a level of intelligence that is unique. Human Intelligence (HI) is the cognitive capacity to learn from experiences, adapt to changing situations, and comprehend and apply abstract concepts. At Cambridge Pre-school, children will develop HI by learning about Executive Function (EF), Character Development and Multiple Intelligences (MI).
DEVELOP FUTURE SKILLS THROUGH iSTEAM
With many developments happening so rapidly, it’s difficult to know what specific job skills will be needed in the future. However, we know that it will be important to hone uniquely human skills that are not easily replaceable by robots and machines, such as the ability to innovate, problem-solve and think creatively and critically. Our award-winning curriculum is a modern approach to education that exposes children to iSTEAM (Innovation, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) while helping them to develop essential future skills in fun and age-appropriate ways. Our progressive curriculum embraces the philosophy of “thinking with hands” and consists of hands-on inquiry and open-ended exploration of interesting topics, which will unlock children’s creative potential and unleash curiosity and a love for learning.
Centre Details
Cambridge @ Artra Alexandra 12 Alexandra View #02-01 Artra Singapore 158736 Tel: +65 6592 5168 Email: artra@cambridge.schoolCambridge @ Holland 170 Ghim Moh Road #05-02 Ulu Pandan CC Singapore 279621 Tel: +65 6022 0658 Email: holland@cambridge.schoolCambridge @ Kingsford Waterbay 50 Upper Serangoon View #01-01 Kingsford Waterbay Singapore 533893 Tel: +65 6904 3961 Email: kingsford@cambridge.school (Infant Care Available)Cambridge @ Macpherson 50 MacPherson Road #01-01 Amazana Singapore 348471 Tel: +65 6741 1508 Email: macpherson@cambridge.school (Infant Care Available)Cambridge @ Midwood Hillview 8 Hillview Rise #01-02 Midwood Singapore 667971 Tel: +65 6513 5125 Email: midwood@cambridge.schoolCambridge @ River Valley 262 River Valley Road Singapore 238308 Tel: +65 6737 9139 WhatsApp: +65 8488 5168 Email: Rivervalley@cambridge.schoolCambridge @ Sengkang 50 Sengkang East Way Singapore 548601 Tel: +65 6315 3183 Email: Sengkang@cambridge.schoolCambridge @ Serangoon Gardens 22 Kensington Park Road Serangoon Gardens Country Club Singapore 557271 Tel: +65 6282 8455 Email: Serangoon@cambridge.school

Artificial intelligence (AI) will be the greatest disruptor in your child’s lifetime; your child needs to master AI to avoid being replaced by it. In addition, mastering Human Intelligence (HI) skills such as creativity will be critical. These types of skills, which are not easily replaceable by robots, will be even more highly valued in the future. Finally, we encourage your child to develop Multiple Intelligences (MI) so that your child can find his or her own niche, develop it, gain confidence, and excel in life.Learning a language is effortless when young children are immersed in that language environment. ChildFirst is the first trilingual pre-school to provide immersion in the three most important languages around the world in the future: English (half-day immersion daily), Chinese (half-day immersion daily) and Coding (the language for AI and robots). Although AI can translate languages, having experience as a native speaker of English and Chinese with an awareness of these cultures will give your child a distinct advantage. Coding, of course, is surrounded by a culture of technology and innovation.
The Value of a Trilingual Education (English, Chinese, Coding) for Your Child
Mastering English, Chinese and Coding goes beyond academics. It shapes your child's path to success in both education and future endeavours. Here’s why our ChildFirst Pre-school curriculum integrates these crucial languages:1. English English is a global language essential for effective communication and collaboration across borders. Proficiency in English opens doors to abundant opportunities worldwide. ChildFirst Pre-school fosters English language proficiency through immersive experiences and interactive learning activities. This enhances academic performance and empowers your child to excel in our interconnected global society. Our children are not just reading stories; they are crafting their own with AI tools like ChatGPT and DALL-E. They write the story together with ChatGPT, alternating pages. They then draw illustrations, like flying cars and unicorns, inspired by the story and use DALL-E, a picture-generating AI, to enhance their drawings based on prompts. This process helps them unleash creativity and develop advanced cognitive skills for future success in school and beyond.2. Chinese The brain works on the principle of “use it or lose it”. Any of the brain’s neural networks not used will be pruned away (synaptic pruning) to save energy. If your child is not exposed sufficiently to Mandarin during pre-school years, he or she will not be able to hear the unique sounds of the Mandarin language. Learning Chinese will increasingly be more difficult with age and those who learn later will always speak with an accent. At ChildFirst, we provide half-day Chinese immersion every day. Each year, your child will be exposed to 1,000 hours of Chinese. Just like English, your child will pick up Chinese naturally and effortlessly. No amount of tuition later can replace this.3. Coding As AI and robots become more common, learning to code will be crucial for your child to excel in this changing world. Just like learning any language, starting early makes it easier. That is why ChildFirst Pre-school is the first trilingual pre-school to integrate coding into our curriculum. We offer coding as an integral part of our trilingual curriculum. Our coding and robotics curriculum and projects not only develop children’s coding abilities but also teamwork, communication, problem-solving skills, and perseverance. It also allows them to experience failure and success. These are all important future skills. To further enhance such skills, we conduct the ChildFirst Pre-school Robotics & Coding Championship annually.
iUnique Curriculum – AI, HI, MI
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already actively changing the world. In the age of AI, your child will not only need to compete with peers and other human beings but also with robots. At ChildFirst, we future-proof your child to be successful in the age of AI. Learning Computational Thinking, Coding, Robotics, and Game Design are just some of the skills that will better prepare your child for the future. These skills enable your child to learn how to use AI for his or her benefit instead of being displaced by this technology. In the age of AI, your child must develop uniquely human talents and traits not easily replaceable by robots to allow them to stand out from the crowd. Human intelligence (HI) is the cognitive quality that provides the capacity to learn from experience, adapt to changes and new situations, manage complex concepts, and use knowledge to influence one’s environment.Harvard University Professor Howard Gardner’s famous Theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI) states that every child has at least eight types of intelligences. Apple founder Steve Jobs did not graduate from university and Alibaba founder Jack Ma may not have been academically accomplished. By traditional education standards where success is synonymous with good grades, they both failed! Yet they are successful figures in their fields today because they were given the opportunity to realise their unique talents.
Dream Outcome to Future-Proof Your Child
Self-help Skills – for success in lifeTo learn to be independent with self-help skills and develop good habits from the earliest years which will benefit your child for life.Academic Skills – for school successTo have sufficient exposure to effectively develop Chinese language competency for primary school and beyond.
