You would think so no? But they were and are very naughty boys. Once I'd asked MIL if she'd ever consider cages, she laughed. She used to hide a cane (cut short) in her bag when she took the boys out. When they got out of hand, she would pull it out of her bag slightly to show them what was in store for them when they got home. That would keep them in check for what, ten minutes?markfch wrote:wa, talk about violence . In some western countries you can be jailed for that.duriz wrote: Anyhoo, MIL was very much a dragon lady. One time, they were up to no good again, she asked them, "Do you know what flying saucer is?" Being boys, they were super anticipative and nodded furiously. The next second, she threw a flying pan at them.

My dd is such a slow snail. I told her if she makes an effort to move faster, I would promote her from slow snail to tortoise
my ds is like then. Very very slow. And this is also what I tell him.
Worst, he is very clumsy. If I make him rush, he will probably just trip over himself and fall down, slowing us down further.
